‘We had the pleasure of working with Shanaz to help our 6 month old girl sleep. Shanaz was incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate. She took the time to understand our babys sleep patterns and created a customised sleep plan that was easy for us to follow. We also really appreciated the gentle approach she takes, so you don’t have to let your baby cry it out. She explains everything about the recommended wake windows and following this recommendation has enabled our little one to achieve longer stretches of daytime and nighttime sleep.
One significant change we’ve seen is that our baby now self settles on her own , which is a huge step in the right direction. With shanaz’s plan we are hopeful that she will soon sleep through the night, she is not sleeping through the night yet as she is still requiring one feed which we are not ready to eliminate just yet.
Shanaz provided on going support and adjustments to the plan as needed which gave us peace of mind throughout the process. It was so nice having someone to talk to and ask all the questions about sleep. Shanaz was extremely responsive.

'Shanaz was really wonderful from the very beginning. She was personal and I felt that she took the time to really understand our son's personality and health issues he was having at the time (reflux)
When we first came to Shanaz our son was only 4 months old and she felt he was too young to sleep train, so she wrote us a guide for a very gentle method.
Due to my son's personality, he was not a fan of the gentle method so we gave it a rest and picked it back up when he was a little older (as advised) . Once we re started...we then adjusted the method slightly for his age and within a week he was sleeping 11 hours per night. Its now been over a month and he is still sleeping great. I'm now working on his day naps using the same method and so far so good-within 2 days he took his nap today in his cot and slept peacefully for 1.5 hours.

Shanaz has given me my life back!
Before talking with Shanaz, I felt so helpless. I felt like I had tried it all. My 6 month old was waking 6-8 times a night, and would only nap in the car. In less than a week of working with her, the night wake ups were cut in half! The quickly lessened to only 1-2 night wakings! Now for naps, he is sleeping the majority of his naps in the cot! Again, I thought I had tried everything to help my baby’s sleep, but having her insight on little things to tweak is what we needed! Shanaz took her time and gathered as much information about our family, and our baby to understand our wants and needs. She was very detailed with helping us to come up with a plan to help us get our baby’s sleep better for his well being and for ours! We are beyond thankful for her support!!

The potty training PDF I think is going to be VERY helpful! It has a lot of information that I didn't know, especially as a first time mum. I only knew very little, which was basically to start when they showed signs and to not use both a trainer seat and an actual potty seat at the same time. I also didn't know what the signs were, but then again, each child is different, so now I know what to look for and it will definitely help when it comes to starting with my son! I'm the one that asks alot of questions and being a first time mum, its going to be a ton of help! So having all of this information and meeting Shan is going to make this journey a little easier.
'I reached out to Shanaz for help with my 2 year old son after realizing I could no longer physically manage rocking him to sleep each night. as a first time mom, I had treasured our special bedtime moments, but lately it was taking much longer for him to settle, and he was still waking 1-2 times during the night. We've been having a difficult time with my daughters sleep (2 years old) for months to the point where it was taking us hours to get her to sleep and then she was waking for long stretches in the early hours.
We decided to look for help and thanks to many recommendations we had an amazing chat a few weeks ago with The Gentle Sleep Nurse. Shanaz is so supportive and calm and helped us regain our confidence with our daughters sleep and the change has been incredible for all of us. I believe that a lot of us as parents don't say anything when we are struggling and that makes us feel like we are the only ones but we are allowed to reach out and ask for help and I'm so grateful we did!
'I cant thank Shanaz enough. My 6 month old had been feeding every 2-3 hours since the 4 month sleep regression and from 3am onwards she was constantly latched while co sleeping. I was so exhausted.
